AddonNordic.dk: From F to B in 20 days
We ran Geoa on our own company domain and recorded every single measurement — including the one that went the wrong way.
Case Study
Company
AddonNordic ApS — the software house behind Geoa. Builds Shopify apps, SaaS and integrations for the European market from Aalborg.
Industry: Software
Size: Solo-run
Domain: addonnordic.dk
The challenge
We were selling AI visibility without having our own in order. The company domain was built like an ordinary business-card site: nice for humans, thin for machines.
The first measurement on 3 July 2026 returned GEO Score 54.5 — grade F. We were our own worst customer.
What Geoa found
No machine-readable identity
No JSON-LD tied the company name, registration number and address together, so an AI could not tell whether mentions of AddonNordic and Addon Nordic were the same company.
Thin content per page
The pages did not answer questions — they presented. AI engines cite answers, not presentations.
Missing crawler signals
llms.txt did not exist, and there was no explicit permission for the AI crawlers that actually fetch pages.
The fix — Auto Fix via Geoa
Entity declared
Organization schema with legalName, the registration number as identifier and the spelling variants as alternateName — so mentions can be resolved to us.
Answer before presentation
Every page got a direct answer at the top instead of an introduction.
Crawler access opened
llms.txt created and robots.txt corrected, giving GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot explicit access.
Structure that can be extracted
H2/H3 as questions, tables rather than prose, and paragraphs short enough to be quoted in full.
Results
GEO Score before — grade F (3 July 2026)
GEO Score after — grade B (23 July 2026)
From F to B — technical visibility, not promised customers
The full curve — six measurements, including the dip:
- 3 July: 54.5 (F) — the starting point
- 13 July: 71.5 (C) — entity and crawler access in place
- 14 July: 69.0 (D) — down again. A change made things worse, and we saw it the next day
- 20 July: 76.4 (C) — corrected, and the content structure started to count
- 23 July: 81.0 (B) — target reached
- Why the dip stays in: a straight line would be prettier and less true. The point of measuring every week is that you catch a wrong move in days rather than quarters
