Geoa.app: From B to A in 45 days
A site built by people who make their living from AI visibility ought to have nothing left to fix. It did. 11 measurements later, the score was 5.3 points higher.
Case Study
Company
Geoa — the platform itself, run by AddonNordic ApS. Measures and fixes AI visibility for small and medium-sized businesses in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
Industry: Software
Measurement period: 26 June – 10 August 2026
Domain: geoa.app
The challenge
The starting point was not a problem. The first measurement on 26 June 2026 returned GEO Score 86.1 — grade B. The site was server-rendered and had llms.txt and structured data from day one.
That kind of site is the hardest to improve. The cheap points are already taken, and what is left requires someone to measure again and again instead of guessing.
What a score across 15 dimensions actually measures
Can the machine read the page?
Server rendering, crawler access and llms.txt decide whether there is any text to read at all. If the answer is no, the rest means nothing.
Can it understand who you are?
Structured data ties the name, registration number and address together, so a mention can be resolved to the right company — even when it is spelled differently.
Can it quote you in full?
Questions as headings, tables rather than prose, and paragraphs short enough to be reproduced without being cut off.
How the last points were taken
Measured every week, not every quarter
11 measurements in 45 days. The cadence is what makes the difference — a wrong move is spotted in days rather than months.
Structured data verified in production
All seven JSON-LD blocks on geoa.app were fetched and parsed in production, not just validated in an editor.
Content measured against the same bar as our customers
All 43 blog posts were scored against the content standard: 43 out of 43 above the bar, lowest 72, average 90.2.
No exceptions for ourselves
The same engine, the same 15 dimensions, the same weights as when you test your own site. There is no internal version with laxer rules.
Results
GEO Score before — grade B (26 June 2026)
GEO Score after — grade A (10 August 2026)
measurements in 45 days — the cadence, not one big lift
What an A grade means — and what it does not mean:
- It means: the AI engines can fetch, read and quote the site, and they can work out who the sender is
- It does not mean: that AI recommends us. Being cited and being recommended are two different things, and we measure them separately
- That is why the two figures never appear in the same sentence — neither here nor in your report
- And that is why the measuring continues: a score is a snapshot, and AI citations move from month to month
“We cannot sell measurement to other people and then avoid measuring ourselves. This is our own site, measured with our own tool, and the figures are the ones in the database — including the stretch where they stood still.”
What was used
- GEO Score across 15 dimensions
- Weekly re-measurement
- Structured data (JSON-LD)
- llms.txt
- Content score on every post
