Get named when your customers ask AI what it costs

We measured it on our own site: from 2 to 55 times used as a source by AI in two months. Geoa does the same for you — from €39/mo, with a 14-day free trial and no card required.

Company

Geoa — the AI SEO employee that measures whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot mention your business, and fixes the errors on your website overnight. Run by AddonNordic ApS from Aalborg.

You don't have to beat the big players on Google

Large companies own the first page of Google. If you have neither the budget nor five years to push them aside, the door looks closed.

It isn't any more. Your customers increasingly ask an AI before they search — and there it is decided on something entirely different from Google. We wanted to know whether that holds in practice, so we measured it on ourselves.

What we found

AI answers from very few pages

Copilot pulled us from 13 pages in total — not the front page and not the pricing page, but the pages that answer one concrete question directly. So write pages that answer, rather than pages that present.

The pricing question matters most

On the question of what AI visibility costs a local business, we were a source in 5 of the 14 answers AI built on sources. That is the question people ask right before they buy — and therefore the one worth owning.

Google and AI are not the same contest

In the same period ordinary Bing search showed us 94 times and produced 1 click, while AI pulled us 97 times. You can become the answer without ranking first.

How we did it

1

The answer first, never the introduction

Every page starts with the answer to the question its title asks. AI quotes answers — it does not quote introductions.

2

One article can carry most of it

A single article accounts for 34 of the 97 times. You do not need to write 50 — you need to write one properly. We have written down what that article does.

3

Written in the customer's language

The article carrying most is the Swedish edition. The same content exists in four languages, and the original was not the one that won. Write in the languages your customers ask in.

4

Measured weekly, not quarterly

The numbers sit in Bing Webmaster Tools, which shows exactly which questions AI pulled you on. Geoa pulls them for you and queues the fixes, so all you have to do is say yes.

Results

All figures come from the Bing Webmaster Tools AI report for geoa.app, 14 July – 16 September 2026. Same source and same method throughout.
2

times used as a source in July (14–31)

55

times in the first 16 days of September

97

in total over three months — across 13 pages

The whole curve, month by month:

  1. July (14–31): 2 times. The very first answer came on 26 July
  2. August: 40 times — an average of 1.3 a day
  3. September (1–16): 55 times — 3.4 a day, already more than all of August in half the time
  4. Best single day: 14 times, on 15 September
  5. Why the July figure is here: twice in eighteen days is not a result. It is here because a case study without its starting point is not a case study

“We do not rank first on Google. We were still used as a source 97 times in three months. That is the whole point: they are two different contests, and one of them can be won now.”
