Geoa vs Brand24 — Which is best for SMEs?
Brand24 is a social listening tool with an AI Visibility module built in. Geoa is designed solely for GEO — and corrects whatever the measurement finds.
We previously stated that Brand24 did not cover AI visibility. This is incorrect. Their AI Visibility module tracks nine AI engines — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, DeepSeek, Grok and Copilot. That’s more than we cover. The claim has been removed.
Brand24 is still essentially a different product: social listening that tells you what’s being said about you across more than 20 sources. AI visibility has been added as an optional extra.

Two different questions
Brand24 answers the question: what are people saying about us? It covers social media, blogs, news, forums and, increasingly, AI-generated responses, and it measures sentiment and reach. This is the field of PR and communications.
Geoa replies: Are we even mentioned when someone asks an AI about our services — and what do we need to do to ensure we are? That’s the discipline of search. The two now overlap, as Brand24 has incorporated AI engines, but their purposes remain different. If you need both, they are not mutually exclusive.
The price — and our own mistake
We previously stated that Brand24 cost $99–299 per month. This was incorrect and made it appear as though the service was cheaper than it actually is. The actual prices are Individual $199, Team $299, Pro $399 and Business $599 when paid annually, whilst Enterprise starts at $1,499 per month.
What’s more, AI Visibility is listed as an add-on on all plans up to Business — and the price for that add-on isn’t stated on their pricing page. So we cannot put a price on the feature that makes them comparable to us. Geoa costs 299–1,499 kr per month, with GEO as the full product.
They measure. They don’t correct
Brand24 does not generate content and has no auto-fix feature. This is not a criticism — that is not what a listening tool is meant to do. But it does mean that if AI Visibility shows that you are not being mentioned, you are left with that information and nowhere to go from there.
Geoa’s Auto Fix writes llms.txt, robots.txt and schema directly onto your site, and AI articles in Danish are included in all paid plans — from 1 per month on the Starter plan to 30 on the Business plan. That’s the whole difference between knowing and doing — and for a small business without a marketing department, it’s usually the difference that determines whether anything happens at all.
Company and data
Brand24 is operated by Brand24 Global Inc., a Delaware-based company with its registered office in Daytona Beach, Florida. Brand24 S.A. in Poland has been appointed as its representative in the EU. So it is an American parent company with a European presence — not a purely European supplier, but not without a presence in the EU either.
The tool supports 108 languages for the monitoring function itself, but the website is only available in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, and there is no evidence of a Danish user interface or Danish support. Geoa is entirely in Danish, with EU data storage and a Danish CVR.
