Top 5 GEO tools for SMEs in 2026
2026-08-03 · Martin Nymann · 8 min reading
Geoa, Serpier, NordicPulse AI, Peec AI and Otterly AI compared in terms of price, Danish coverage and whether they’re right for you. Prices taken from the suppliers’ own websites, 3 August 2026.
Key takeaways
- The difference between the tools is rarely the measurement itself — it’s whether someone corrects it for you afterwards.
- Two of the five are Danish: Geoa from €39/month (manages your own website) and Serpier from €199/month (publishes content externally).
- NordicPulse and Serpier both offer a free plan; Otterly starts at $29 per month and Peec at €70 per month with an annual contract.
- Profound recorded 11.84 billion AI citations: approximately 57 per cent link to the brand’s own website, and the variation within the same industry amounts to 43 percentage points.
- The list has been compiled by one of the providers. Under each tool, it is explicitly stated when you should choose an alternative to us.

The 5 best GEO tools for smaller businesses in 2026 are Geoa (from €39/month, Danish), Serpier (Danish, from €199/month), NordicPulse AI (free plan, up to 14,990 NOK/month), Peec AI (from €70/month on an annual plan) and Otterly AI (from $29/month). The choice depends on three things: budget, language, and whether you want tracking only — or tracking plus someone to correct your work. All prices are taken from the providers’ own pricing pages and were checked on 3 August 2026.
What should a GEO tool be able to do?
Essentially three things, and most tools can only do the first two: measure whether AI engines mention you, show what’s missing from your site — and fix it. The third is what sets this category apart the most, and it’s also what determines whether the tool is suitable for a business without a marketing department.
There’s a good reason to prioritise your own site. Profound analysed 11.84 billion AI citations across the major engines (April–July 2026) and found that around 57 per cent of citations point to the brand’s own website — 69 per cent for Gemini, 47 per cent for ChatGPT. Our own Danish figures are similar: 61 per cent of the sources cited by the search engines regarding 465 Danish companies were the companies’ own websites.
And the difference between the best and worst performers within the same sector reached 43 percentage points in Profound’s data. So there is room for improvement — but it lies in what is on the website, not in which dashboard you subscribe to.
Comparison table
The column on the far right is the one that most often determines the value of an SME. All other things being equal, the measurement costs the same; the difference lies in who carries out the work afterwards.
| Platform | Price | Danish | Target audience | Is this right for you? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Geoa | 299–€199/month | Yes | Smaller businesses | Yes — Auto Fix + contents |
| Serpier | Free + €199–599/month | Danish company | Online shops | Yes — external content |
| NordicPulse AI | 0–14,990 NOK/month | Norwegian/English | Comprehensive marketing setup | No |
| Peec AI | €70–425 per month | No | Marketing teams, agencies | No |
| Otterly AI | $29–489/month | No | Monitoring only | No |
1. Geoa — who is it suitable for?
Smaller businesses without a marketing manager. Geoa measures AI visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, presents a prioritised action plan and automatically corrects the technical aspects — llms.txt, schema markup and robots.txt. The Starter plan costs €39/month, the Pro plan €99/month with content generation, and the Business plan €199/month with multiple locations, a team and API access. Choose something else if you have a team that would prefer raw data and to build their own reports.
2. Serpier — who is it suitable for?
Online shops with a budget for external distribution. Serpier is a Danish company based in Aarhus, which raised €1.4 million in June 2026. Their agency writes and publishes content with over 200,000 publishers, whilst simultaneously measuring citations and share of voice in ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. Integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, GA4 and Search Console. From €199/month — roughly five times the price of Geoa’s Starter — and the model is different: they build visibility outside your site, whilst we focus on your own.
3. NordicPulse AI — who is it for?
Businesses with a broad digital marketing setup that work well in Norwegian or English. It’s Norway’s strongest tool in this category and a comprehensive toolkit rather than a single, focused product. There’s a free plan, and the top tier costs 14,990 NOK per month. However, if you don’t have a marketing department, the breadth of features becomes a cost, and you’ll have to carry out the optimisations yourself. The alternatives are listed here.
4. Peec AI — who is it suitable for?
Marketing teams and agencies with multiple clients. A German platform offering daily tracking across many countries, an API, MCP integration and Looker Studio, so you can build your own reporting on top of it. €70–425 per month on an annual plan, with additional AI models costing €25–115 per month on top. No Danish interface, and no corrections are carried out.
5. Otterly AI — who is it for?
Anyone who just wants to measure. From $29/month, you get brand tracking and sentiment analysis across AI responses, and it’s the cheapest serious entry point in the field. On the other hand, there are no tools for making corrections and no focus on the Danish market, so you or your developer will need to act on the insights yourselves.
Who didn’t make the cut — and why?
Auspia.ai excels at automated article generation, but does not disclose any public pricing, making it difficult to recommend to an SME that needs to set a budget. Profound and AthenaHQ are capable, but built for international enterprise teams; Profound, for example, has launched MCP workflows and connectors that a Danish craft business neither requires nor would set up. The comprehensive international comparison can be found in ‘Best GEO Tool 2026’.
What can none of the five promise you?
That AI will start recommending your business. This applies to us too, and it’s worth stating clearly in an article where we ourselves are ranked number one. We asked four AI engines 576 customer questions about 465 Danish businesses: technical setup was a strong predictor of whether a page was used as a source (p=0.000), and had no bearing on whether the business was recommended by name (p=0.988). The full analysis can be found in ‘What determines whether AI mentions your company’.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best GEO tool for a smaller business?
If you have fewer than 2,000 DKK/month and no marketing department, Geoa is the obvious choice: analytics plus technical fixes, in Danish, from €39/month. If you run an online shop with a budget for external distribution, Serpier is more relevant. If you just want to monitor and are comfortable using English, Otterly is the cheapest option, starting at $29/month.
Are there Danish GEO tools?
Yes, two, each with its own model. Geoa measures your AI visibility and corrects your own site, from €39/month. Serpier is an Aarhus-based company that builds a presence with external publishers, from €199 per month. NordicPulse is Norwegian, and the others on the list are German and international, with no Danish interface.
How much does a GEO tool cost?
From free to just over 10,000 DKK per month. NordicPulse and Serpier both offer a free plan; Otterly starts at $29 per month, Peec at €70 per month on an annual plan and Geoa at €39 per month. At the top end of the scale are enterprise plans, which an SME rarely needs. The full budget breakdown can be found in ‘How much does it cost to be seen in AI?’.
Is the list independent?
No — we’re on it ourselves, and we’re ranked number one. Read it as our assessment, not as an independent test. We’ve noted under each tool when you should choose an alternative to us, and the point-by-point comparisons with dates can be found on the comparison page.
How often are the prices updated?
The prices here are taken from the suppliers’ own pricing pages and were checked on 3 August 2026; Peec was re-checked on 10 September 2026. We review the competition weekly. Two things to know: Peec’s price depends on the contract — €70/€180/€360 a month with an annual contract, €85/€205/€425 without. And review sites are often wrong — in the same week, four listed Peec AI at $95/$245/$495.
